Whether this is your first experience with professional massage therapy, or one of many, I would like to introduce myself, and answer a few FAQs.
I am skilled in a variety of manual applications that provide increased-circulation, relieve muscle tension and decrease acute and chronic pain.
I am licensed for Massage Therapy in Missouri, and nationally Board Certified in Neuromuscular Therapy. I have an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy, and a Compassionate Touch Practitioner in Hospice Massage.
On your first visit, you will be asked for basic health information. If you are under a doctor’s care, you may need written or verbal approval prior to a session. It is a good idea to come well hydrated with water.
With some types of therapy, it is not essential to be unclothed: however I do request that you wear underwear (on bottom). You will always be professionally draped with a sheet and light blanket.
We will discuss your needs and have a plan before we begin. If you have any discomfort in any way please inform me so that we can adjust the pressure, temperature, lighting, music, or anything at all! This is your time to be still and enjoy the escape from stress. You are valuable, and you are doing a good thing for yourself.
Your appointment time is set aside just for you. To avoid additional fees, please give 24-hour notice if you have any changes. Thank you for trusting me, and allowing me to contribute to your good health!
